David Beckham hails 'creative genius' David Bowie as tributes continue to flood in

The untimely death of David Bowie has seen tributes flood in from around the globe, but one of the more notable messages comes from a man that shares Bowie's London routes.

Heralding from Leytonstone, former England captain David Beckham was born on the other side of the River Thames to Brixton-born Bowie. Just hours after Bowie's death was confirmed, Beckham used his Instagram page to pay tribute to him, describing him as a 'creative genius'.
