Amazon Prime Video has just added 12 very big movies to its library

A dozen new movies to the Amazon Prime Video library to choose from.

If you're looking for some viewing inspiration, these additions on Amazon Prime Video should be just what you need. ALAN PARTRIDGE: STRATAGEM We chatted to Steve Coogan about his latest live show Stratagem - which was bringing back his character "Martin from Sligo" - and now that full live show is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. DEAR JOHN Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried play a young couple who have their love tested when he enlists in the army after the 9/11 attacks. A big box office hit, this romantic drama scored 29% on Rotten Tomatoes. HITMAN: AGENT 47 Rupert Friend stars as the ultimate assassin in this very, VERY bad video game adaptation. JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH One of the best dramas of the last decade. MAD MAX 2: THE ROAD WARRIOR The bigger and better sequel, with Mel Gibson tackling the brilliantly named villain Lord Humungus. MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME The one with Tina Turner. It isn't very good, but that song is still class. MAD MAX: FURY ROAD We called this the best action movie of the entire 2010s decade, and we stand by that. MORTAL KOMBAT The original 1995 movie. Still a lot of fun, despite being... well... kinda crap. MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION The 1997 sequel is literally one of the worst video game movies ever made. 4% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yikes. SHERLOCK HOLMES RDJ and Jude Law's first outing as Sherlock and Watson is still a brilliant action thriller mystery. SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS The sequel is arguably even better, adding in the excellent Jared Harris as the nefarious Moriarty. We're still waiting on that threequel! SHOTGUN WEDDING J-Lo and Josh Duhamel star in this brand new Amazon Prime Video exclusive rom-com, and it is already in the running for worst movie of 2023.
